RPET 2013 stands for Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test 2013. RPET is the state-level entrance examination being conducted for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech. /  B.E.) in various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET 2013) Counseling Process Will starts for the Admission in Total 54806 Seats of Engineering Colleges for B.E./B.Tech Courses which includes 4286 Seats in Govt. Engineering Colleges while 50520 in Pvt. Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan for Academic year 2013-14.

RPET 2012 Counselling Process:

• STEP 1. Collect all relevant documents for RPET 2012 such as attested 12th Marksheet, Category certificate, Choice order with college and branch.
• STEP 2. Read Option form instruction carefully and fill choice online and save when you are total sure about choice. After save you will get Option form and Challan printout.
• STEP 3. Pay Rs. 10,000 challan in any branch of UCO Bank in rajasthan.
• STEP 4. Take hard copy of Option form, Bank Challan for further process.

Govt. Aided Seats(GAS) Fee:  Interim Fees For Session 2011-12 was Rs.30000/- Caution Money Rs.5000/-

Self-Financed Seats ( SFS) : Interim Fees For Session 2011-12 was Rs. 55000/- Caution Money Rs.7500/-

 RPET 2012 Eligibility Criteria For Admission:

The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with atleast  45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non Creamy layer)” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent there to by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE).

Reservation of Seats:

As prescribed by the Govt. of Rajasthan (except in case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% seats in the self finance course of the aided institutions) the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates, 21% for candidates belonging to non-creamy layer OBC category and 1% for non-creamy layer SBC candidates.

Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicap, 25% for women category and 3% for dependants of Defence Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winners.
